Community Readiness Workshops

In response to considerable interest from field professionals as well as researchers, the Tri-Ethnic Center is proud to be able to offer on-site training on the Community Readiness Model. Presenters well versed on the model will utilize group exercises, discussion, and audio / visual aides to fully explain the history, the process and implementation of the model. The goal of the Center is to provide training on the interview process, the dimensions of readiness, the final stages of readiness, and strategy development with enough insight and explanation as to prepare the participants to implement the model and eventually inform other interested parties.

The training generally lasts between 9 am to 4:00 pm, with a working lunch. The on-site workshop is offered at $195.00 per participant. Please make checks payable to 'Tri-Ethnic Center for Prevention Research.'

For more information, questions, please contact Dr. Linda Stanley, 1-800-835-8091, or Linda.Stanley@Colostate.edu.

Next Scheduled Community Readiness Training: TBA.

Or, contact Jessi Floyd at 1-800-835-8091 to register.
